VeCASTER is the family of compact, single-channel IPTV streaming encoders from Pro Video Instruments. Each one takes a single HDMI or SDI source and puts it live on a network as a professional IP stream — for live events, houses of worship, broadcast contribution, signage, and AV-over-IP.

Pick the model that matches your source and quality target: efficient 1080p H.264 for the best value, HEVC for half the bitrate, true 4K@30 from HDMI 2.0b, or broadcast 4K@60 HDR from 12G-SDI / HDMI 2.1. The PRO models add NDI + SRT for live production. Mount several together with the rack kits to build a tidy high-density headend.

How it works: HDMI or SDI sources feed a VeCASTER or VeCODER IPTV encoder, which streams over your IP network (SRT, NDI, HLS, RTMP, UDP) to smart TVs, apps, browsers, and VePLAYER decoders that output HDMI or SDI on the far end.

Which VeCASTER is right for you?

Start with your source

If your source is HDMI (computers, media players, cameras with HDMI), choose an HDMI model. If it is 3G-SDI (broadcast cameras, switchers, routers), choose an SDI model. The 4K-PRO accepts both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.1 for top-tier 4K@60.

Pick your codec

H.264 is the most universally compatible and the best value. HEVC (H.265) delivers the same quality at roughly half the bitrate — ideal when bandwidth is tight or you are streaming 4K.

Need production features?

The PRO models add NDI for plug-and-play discovery in live-production switchers and SRT for reliable low-latency contribution over the public internet.

Build a headend

Add the RACK-BARS-KIT to mount up to 15 VeCASTERs (30 channels) in 5RU, or the 1RU RACK-PLATE-KIT for one or two units. For many channels from one box, step up to VeCODER or the INFINIUM 4K headend.
