Does it encode HEVC and H.264 together?
Yes. Two encoder engines run simultaneously, so you can publish an efficient HEVC stream and a universal H.264 stream from the same SDI feed at once.
Do I need a capture card or computer?
No. The VeCASTER is standalone hardware with a built-in streaming server — connect SDI and ethernet and it streams directly.
Can I stream over the internet reliably?
Yes. SRT recovers lost packets and encrypts the stream for broadcast-quality, low-latency delivery across the public internet.
How do I watch on a TV?
Use an IP set-top box, a smart-TV app, VLC, or our VePLAYER decoder to convert the stream back to SDI or HDMI.
