What is NDI and why do I want it?
NDI (Network Device Interface) sends low-latency, high-quality video over a standard LAN. The VeCASTER PRO appears automatically as a source inside vMix, OBS, TriCaster, and NDI monitors — no capture cards, no cabling beyond ethernet.
What does SRT add over RTMP?
SRT recovers lost packets and encrypts the stream, so it stays broadcast-quality and low-latency across the unpredictable public internet — where RTMP would stutter or drop.
Can I use NDI and stream to the internet at the same time?
Yes. Output NDI to your production switcher on the LAN while simultaneously sending SRT or RTMP/HLS to a remote site, CDN, or your IPTV system.
Does it also do plain IPTV?
Absolutely. Alongside NDI and SRT it serves HLS, RTMP, RTSP, UDP/RTP and multicast from its built-in server to any player.
HEVC or H.264?
Both. Choose HEVC for bandwidth efficiency or H.264 for maximum compatibility — or run both simultaneously on the dual encoders.
How do I watch on a TV?
Use an IP set-top box, smart-TV app, VLC, or our VePLAYER decoder to convert the stream back to HDMI.
Is there an SDI version?
