What does the VuMATRIX FX Receiver do?
It receives a 4K HDMI signal sent over your IP network from any VuMATRIX FX Transmitter and outputs it to a local display via HDMI. Place one behind each TV or projector to create a fully switched AV-over-IP system.
How do I build a video wall with the VuMATRIX receivers?
Connect one receiver to each panel in your wall array. Using the free app, group those receivers into a wall of any size (2×2, 3×3, 1×4, etc.) with options for PiP, mosaic, zoom, and 360° rotation — no external processor required.
Can one receiver switch between multiple transmitters?
Yes. Any receiver can tune to any transmitter on the same network. Switching is instant and controlled via the app, API, RS-232, or IR.
What is the maximum distance between transmitter and receiver?
Up to 100 meters over Cat6 cable. For longer runs or between buildings, install an SFP fiber module and reach up to 60 km.
Does it really need no power adapter?
Correct — when connected to a PoE switch or injector (802.3af), the receiver draws only 15 W through the Ethernet cable. An AC adapter is included as a fallback if PoE is not available.
What audio formats does the receiver support?
Full 7.1 surround including LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Atmos, DTS-HD, and DTS:X. A dedicated SPDIF optical output and analog stereo breakout let you feed independent audio zones.
