You receive 1 VuMATRIX FX Transmitter and 36 VuMATRIX FX Receivers. Supply thirty-six displays and a managed PoE switching infrastructure with at least 37 PoE ports (a 48-port switch or two stacked 24-port switches). The free VuMATRIX app handles all configuration.
Is it possible to expand beyond 6×6?
Yes. The VuMATRIX system has no hard ceiling. Add more receivers to create a 7×6, 6×8, or any custom geometry. Add more transmitters for additional HDMI sources. Every unit is simply a node on your IP network.
What switching infrastructure supports 37 PoE devices?
A 48-port managed gigabit PoE switch with IGMP snooping is the simplest option. Alternatively, stack two 24-port managed PoE switches via LAG or dedicated stacking cables. The switches handle multicast traffic and power delivery for all 37 units.
Do I need a dedicated video-wall processor for 36 screens?
No. Even at 36-panel scale, every VuMATRIX receiver handles its own wall processing internally. The free app orchestrates all 36 panels into one seamless canvas with PiP, mosaic, and rotation — no external processor, no license fees, no subscriptions.
Can the 36 displays be distributed across a campus?
Yes. Each link supports 100 meters over Cat6 or 60 kilometers over single-mode fiber. Panels can be spread across multiple rooms, floors, wings, or entirely separate buildings and still form one frame-locked wall.
