Why is HEVC important for multichannel 4K?
4K is bandwidth-heavy. HEVC roughly halves the bitrate per channel, which is often the difference between fitting several 4K channels on your network or not. This is the model to choose for dense UHD deployments.
Can each 4K channel use a different codec?
Yes — HEVC or H.264 is selectable per channel, so you can tune each channel for its destination devices and the available bandwidth.
How many 4K channels are available?

Is an external server required?
