Does it pair automatically with PVI encoders?
Yes. It auto-pairs with PVI encoders and can auto-start to a fixed stream on power-up, so a technician simply plugs it in and it works.
How many do I need?
Typically one decoder per display. For multicast channels, any number of decoders can watch the same stream without adding load to the encoder.
