What does the 4K-over-coax module do?
It converts the INFINIUM chassis IP channels into real digital TV channels delivered over your existing coaxial cabling, so ordinary 4K/8K televisions tune them like any other channel — no set-top boxes and no new wiring.
How many channels can one module deliver?
Up to 30 4K channels at ~5 Mbps HEVC, or up to 60 HD channels at ~2.5 Mbps H.264, across 4 agile RF carriers, to an unlimited number of televisions.
Which TV standards does it support?
QAM (J83B American cable), ATSC 8-VSB (American off-air), DVB-T (worldwide off-air), DVB-C (European cable, J83A), and ISDB-T (Latin America/Japan). You select the standard on-site with a software setting.
Do I need to change my existing coax cabling?
No. The signal is fully compatible with your existing coax, including amplifiers and splitters. Simply add the module to the chassis and the channels appear on every connected TV.
