When a compact single-channel modulator is the right call
HD, 4K or SDI — which compact model?
If your source is HDMI and your TVs are HD, the MINIMOD 2+ is the proven, lowest-cost choice. If you feed from broadcast cameras or a production switcher with SDI, choose the MICROMOD-3 SDI, which also accepts HDMI and analog AV. If you must preserve a true 4K UHD picture on premium displays, the MINIMOD 4K is the only modulator that delivers a real Ultra-HD channel over coax.
Can one compact unit feed many TVs?
Yes. A single modulator creates one channel that unlimited TVs can tune simultaneously. You only add hardware when you need an additional independent source on its own channel.
Do compact modulators need a computer?
No. Each has a built-in color LCD for full setup — pick the output channel and TV standard on screen, then scan channels on your TVs. A web-browser remote is also included for remote management.
